With DRILL (Filthy Metalcore), the name says it all. The five guys from eastern Switzerland drill their way into the heads of their listeners with brute force and uncompromising heaviness. Jérémie Gonzalez, the band's songwriter, fulfills all his dark breakdown and two-step dreams with this project. On stage, the band and their music unleash their full energy and put a smile on the face of every fan of the cultivated mosh pit.
The group was founded in 2018 and has since released several singles and EPs under their own name. The best-known hit of this era is "Trap ft. Paleface Swiss". The band has developed strongly musically over the years and was delighted to take the step of releasing a very well thought-out and boldly produced first full-length record called "Hommage" in March 2024. DRILL's songs are heavy, technical and at the same time blunt and unhinged. They are a wild mix with elements from Hardcore to Deathcore, but above all, they are fun.
August 2026 – The new era of DRILL begins with their most ambitious project to date. The “Catharsis” EP, mixed by billboard #1 producer Josh Schroeder, unveils a completely new energy, aesthetic, and emotional depth, marking a bold new chapter for the band.
Among the most notable milestones are the appearance at the BandXOst edition of 2024, at which DRILL won the audience award, the performance at the legendary Open Air Gränichen, as well as the sold-out show at X-TRA Zurich as support act for Paleface Swiss. In addition, DRILL was one of the artists selected for the 2025 m4music Award nominations in the «Rock» category.
DRILL is queer.
